After finishing my bachelor in Audiovisual Comunication at Universidad Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, 1997) I started working as a screen writer in Televisió de Catalunya (1997-2003), in the programes releated to music Nydia and Sardana, the children’s one Club Super 3 and for artistic documentaries as Andorra, del fardo al teleesquíLa Passió de Cervera and Circ, cercle d’emocions (semifinalist in the Emmy Awarids, in the artistic documentaries category).

Before that I adapted screen plays for Children’s Theater for the company Urubú Teatre (dir. Berty Tobías) y presentado programas de radio aenRàdio Estel (Cova de Jazz, con Òscar Dalmau) y en Ràdio Ribes.

As a journalist I have published articles in Revista Musical CatalanaL’Obra, Dyonisios, Folc, 3 de vuit, Diari de Vilanova, L’Hora del Garraf, L’Eco de Sitges, among others. I used some of these works for my studies in Musicology (Doctorade program with Francesc Bonastre in UAB).

In 1999 a wrote my book about the youngest soldiers fought in the Spanish Civil War (1936-39).  “Les quintes del biberó” (Rúbrica Editorial), the first book centered on this specific topic.

Shortly before I wrote a film screen play as final project in my studies of Comunicación Audiovisual: “Pere Màrtir” (1997), finalist in FAD Award of that year.

I have also written texts forCD booklets. Such as: Jordi Molina, Cobla de Cambra de Catalunya, Andrés Belmonte, Jesús Ventura, cobla Marinada, etc. And also worked as a copyeditor for the books: El lenguaje de la Armonía, by Lluís Vergés (Ed. Boileau, 2007) and Notes de concert, by David Puertas (Sebla Edicions, 2011).

TEACHING

During the academic year 2013/14 I was in charged of Responsable del Grado Universitario en Composición de Músicas Contemporáneas in ‘Escuela Artes TAI (Madrid), associated center of Rey Juan Carlos. Starting for zero this new studies, pionner in Spain, was a big challenge for me.

As a professor, in Madrid, I also taught Instrumentation/Orchestration. Some years before I taught a course of Catalan Music History at Universitat Catalana d’Estiu ( 2002).

I have given lectures in all around Catalonia and cities of the South of France about Musica, History or Screenwriting.

For Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística (2008-2012) I taught official courses of Catalan language.

Nowadays I give lessons of  harmony, composing and arranging at home, but I started in the pedagogy long ago, at Escola Freqüències in Vilanova i la Geltrú (1995-1998).
